[13-Jan-2025] Milestones on Program Board & Listing Enhancements for Boards

The latest updates enhance your ability to plan and organize your Program Boards more effectively. The Program Board listings now include options for custom sorting or sorting by date. Additionally, an exciting new feature has been introduced for Milestones, allowing you to manage them directly from the Program Board.

Milestones on Program Board

We've enhanced milestone management to help you align with your quarterly goals and track progress more effectively. Watch this video to learn more.

Create Milestone

Milestones appear as the first swimlane on the Program Board and are visualized on the Timeline view. Use the "Group by Milestones" option to see linked features and track their progress.

Progress Tracking

Track milestone progress using completed story points (Estimates), completed stories (Status), or directly linked items (Status).

Milestones on Older Boards

Milestones swimlane is hidden by default for the older boards. You may go the Board Settings and Details section to unhide the Milestones swimlane.

Program Boards Listing Enhancements

Program Boards are now listed by default based on the "Board Date." The board date corresponds to each state, so switching the state updates the board date accordingly, ensuring the latest boards appear at the top. You can also use custom sorting to arrange the boards as per your preference.

Starred boards are always displayed at the top when sorting by date within their respective collection.

All board collections are collapsed by default, with board counts visible only when the collection is expanded. The search functionality efficiently provides results that match the board names based on your criteria.
